Wow- I had turned 40 and had been working as an electrician since the age of 16 and I was working 12 hour days and nights. I Had no savings and had to take holidays when it was convient for the company. I was living to work. There was no fun, no money and no future, only the promise of a pension when I reached 65.

I wanted to know how other people got rich and why wasn't I ever going to achieve this wealth? This is when I started to buy all the material on getting rich. This was desperation. I fell for every advertising ploy. Copy this system, get rich quick, fool proof ways to get rich etc' I spent thousands and earned nothing.

I took a year out of my life and started to educate myself in the ways of doing things to get where I wanted to be. I would spend up to 15 hours a day 7 days a week studying the internet and learning how the sucessful people were operating and then finding out how a beginner could compete with them.

2 years down the line, I am now my own boss, My income is totally generated from the internet, I have cash going in my account while I sleep due to the fact that I have customers all over the world, I have no money worries, I own my large 5 bedroom home outright, I have had investment property's and I have a life.

The picture on the left shows the top floor flat I lived in and the right hand picture is a shot of a part of the rear of my 5 bedroom house in winter.To acheive this I made up my mind I had to change the things I had been doing for years and to re educate myself to become the person I wanted to be.

Now- if I had done nothing and carried on doing the same things I had been doing since I brought the flat back in 1985, I would have still been there now. It's surprising how you CAN change your life if you have a burning desire and the right information. One point here is that you must have a burning desire to change because if you don't, you will fall back into your comfort zone and fail.

For years my tools were a pair of pliers, a screwdriver and a test lamp, now my tools are a computer, a mouse and a keyboard. I knew nothing about computers until I brought my first one in 1998 and am completly self taught. I never realised back then what a fantastic tool the internet was going to be but this was the time all of the top internet guru's of today got started. I wish I had someone guiding me when I needed it so I know how important it is to have a mentor at the begining.
